BioBanking

Overview

With the global medical biobanking industry expected to reach $22.7 billion by 2018 and the increasing amount of sample and information sharing between biobanks and research facilities, SMi’s 5th annual BioBanking conference comes at the perfect time on 23rd & 24th June 2015, to discuss key topics surrounding best practice in specimen and repository preservation, future integrity of sample collections, confidentiality of research participants, plus much more!

Join us as we ask questions such as: How will regulatory changes in EU data protection impact current procedures? What should biobanks do after funding expires? What are the steps in building a successful biobanking network? When are incidental findings fed back to participants? and what does the future hold for medical biobanks?
