The automated Cell-IQ® systems combine an environmental chamber, imaging capability (phase contrast and fluorescence) and integrated data analysis tools in a single optimised platform. The design of Cell-IQ allows parallel experimentation to be performed (e.g. hypoxic versus normoxic assays) using either 2D or 3D samples.
Unique Cell-IQ Analyser™ Software is simple to use and enables label free analysis to be made based solely on cell morphology or structure. The Analyser software is an open package able to quantify many parameters from a single experiment, there is no need to purchase separate add on modules for each application. Automatic identification of cells, quantification and classification of mixed cell populations, cell differentiation, neurite outgrowth, tubule formation, spheroid formation and single/multi-cell tracking are all made easy with the simple interface. Applications continue to grow and so far Cell-IQ has supported research in areas from stem cell, regenerative & translational medicine, oncology, toxicology, neurology, dentistry, ophthalmology, drug discovery, through to bioprocessing and quality control.
