Discussion

As a step towards more personalized treatment of cancer we evaluate clinically referred tumour cells from individual patients with respect to drug resistance providing treatment guidance. In conjunction we also perform in vitro pharmacology research to discover novel treatments and improve on existing. For this purpose we develop and implement protocols for compound screening and combination studies, applicable both for cell lines, spheroids and primary cultures from patients.
The Echo liquid handling system enables us to perform a broad range of studies in cell lines and patient samples. The diversity and flexibility of the acoustic dispensing is equally important in the clinic and research.
