A Novel Nanoluc Profurimazine based real-time Bioluminescent Cell Viability Assay Poster

Discussion

Here we describe a new real-time cell viability assay, RealTime-Glo? Metabolic Cell Viability Assay, that utilizes NanoLuc? luciferase and a novel profurimazine substrate to determine the number of viable cells in culture through measurement of the reducing capacity of the cell. The assay is homogeneous, nonlytic, and ATP-independent. Viability can be monitored as a live cell endpoint assay or continuously over time from the same well (multiple reads, no further addition of reagent, a NO-STEP assay).
