Manual preparation of solutions and media from powders and stocks is a ubiquitous laboratory task that can be associated with human error, waste, unnecessary redundancy, and an inability to easily track supply and production levels. To address these issues, we have developed LabMinds Revo, a system that provides flexible and fully automated solution preparation by dosing and mixing both solid and liquid compounds, adjusting pH, and filtering in 0.5 – 2L batches. Revo is a benchtop, connected device that enables remote ordering of solutions using its web interface and sends notifications once they have been securely dispensed. It offers unparalleled process integration and data transparency and produces GHS compliant labels.
