Ultraviolet microvolume spectrometry is an established technique for the low volume determination of nucleic acids. However, this technique has not gained routine acceptance in laboratories performing protein analyses.
The complex protocols required to solubilise proteins leads to breakage of the measurement zone leading to poor reproducibility and hence little confidence in the data generated.
In this poster, we compare the market leader with a new instrument, the DeNovix DS-11, which overcomes these limitations.
The excellent reproducibilities achieved makes this new innovation a viable option for progressing this field of research.
