Abstract

We are developing a new generation of automated high-throughput
cell sorting instruments for research, diagnostic and therapeutic applications.
The technology is new type of microfluidic cell sorting device – the inertial
vortex sorter – which is suitable for multiplexed high-throughput aseptic cell sorting in a disposable cartridge. We are now evaluating the technology in high-throughput
cell sorting applications, such as phenotypic screening, single-cell diagnostics,
bioproduction and cell therapy manufacturing. Cellular Highways is a venture of
TTP plc and based near Cambridge, UK.
