Abstract
RNA is the most heavily modified biological macromolecule,
and the addition, removal and recognition of chemical marks on RNA is
associated with cellular differentiation and disease.
However, characterising these modifications remains
challenging. Here, we present an approach that applies mass spectrometry and
novel software for comprehensive analysis of the identity and quantification of
RNA modifications.
At Storm, we are leveraging this platform to understand the
effects of our first-in-class compounds. We are targeting RNA modifying enzymes
to create new therapies for cancer.
