Toxicity testing and drug screening using Human iPSC derived hepatocytes, cardiomyocytes, and neurons |
Drug Development is time- and cost-
consuming work. Unexpected toxicity in areas such as cardiotoxicity,
hepatotoxicity, and neurotoxicity is a serious complication of clinical therapy
and one of the key causes for failure of promising drug candidates in
development. To overcome the limitation of animal models, human primary cell
lines and immortalized cell lines as a toxicity testing model, alternative
method is strongly required in this field. NEXEL manufactures highly pure and
functional cell products that comparable to human primary cells using
proprietary differentiation protocols, techniques and knowhows. This will lead
new paradigm for drug screening by replacing animal models and primary cultured
cells for drug screening and toxicity tests.
