Profile of Antje Labes
Biog:
Antje is a microbiologist with interests in the biotechnological aspects of fungal biology. She obtained her diploma and PhD degrees at Christian-Albrechts-University, Kiel, working on extremophilic micoorganisms. She subsequently change her focus on to marine microbiological topics and works on the understanding of microbial communication and the transfer of this knowledge to pharmaceutical applications.
