Qualified: Torino, Italy (1977). Institution/Practice: Somerton Equine Hospital, Friarstown, Kildare, Co. Kildare, Ireland. Career: Following graduation in 1977 spent 18 years as a Thoroughbred farm repro vet and 9 years as an AI repro vet. SBS affiliated since 1999 (stallion semen freezing).
Clinical researcher with Irish Equine Centre since 1997. Lecturer at University Pisa, Italy on equine reproduction since 2002. Interests: Equine reproduction; pregnancy physiology and fetal monitoring; ultrasonography/ Doppler.
