After completing her PhD in Chemistry at University of Edinburgh (UK), Daniela moved to the Theodor Kocher Institute (Bern, Switzerland) under a Marie Curie Action to join a group dedicated to the analysis of adaptive immune cell dynamics. Since then, she acquired skills and expertise in multidisciplinary fields and her scientific career continued in immunological and biological areas. In 2013, she joined the Screening Technologies unit at IRBM Science Park (Rome, Italy) as Research Scientist. Here she is currently leading a small number of younger scientists (Hit Validation Team) in research efforts to validate targets and elucidate the mechanisms of action (MoA) for compounds originating from High Throughput Screening projects, in different therapeutic area.
