Gary Pettman

Gary Pettman has over 30 years of experience within the Pharmaceutical / Biopharmaceutical industry in the area of Animal Cell Technology and Mammalian Protein Expression.
He is currently a team leader in the Cell Sciences Department at MedImmune, responsible for the supply of Pre-Clinical grade material. He has extensive experience in the optimisation and scale up of eukaryotic expression systems, including, serum free media development, use of different bioreactor systems, process development and large scale transient expression.

Prior to joining Medimmune, he worked at GSK where he led a group responsible for the provision of cells based reagents and proteins for small molecule drug discovery activities.
