Profile of Mr John Walmsley
Qualified: Cambridge University (1968). Career: Worked in Wales, Cornwall, New Zealand, Australia and South Africa before starting the Liphook practice in 1976. Now retired from partnership and since have worked as a consultant at the Liphook Equine Hospital; as a visiting fellow in equine surgery at the University of Melbourne, Australia; as a visiting professor at the Swedish University Veterinary School. Past President of ECVS. Past member of Veterinary Advisory Committee to HBLB. Adviser to Royal Western India Turf Club. Member of Council of RVC. Recognised RCVS specialist in equine surgery. Interests: Minimally invasive surgery.
