Profile of Dr Mark Halliday

I undertook a degree in pharmacology at University College London before studying for a PhD in neurobiology at the MRC Toxicology Unit, Leicester. I have worked in the laboratory of Giovanna Mallucci for a number of years studying the role of the unfolded protein response in neurodegeneration. My current research focuses on repurposing drugs as potential treatments for neurodegeneration.
