Profile of Dr Robert Christley

Following graduation in 1991 Rob undertook an internship at the University of Sydney before entering general practice in the UK. He subsequently completed a residency in equine medicine and a Masters degree in equine exercise physiology at the University of Sydney. Immediately following this Rob worked in equine practice in Sydney before undertaking a PhD investigating the epidemiology of airway disease in racehorses, at the University of Sydney. In 1999 Rob took up a post as a lecturer then senior lecturer in equine medicine at the University of Glasgow, moving to the University of Liverpool where he is currently a Reader in Epidemiology.
