Raphael Labens

After working in equine practice in Germany, Raphael completed an equine rotating internship at the University of Liege, a senior clinical scholarship in equine surgery at the University of Glasgow and a residency in equine surgery at North Carolina State University where he also obtained a doctoral degree in comparative biomedical sciences. Raphael held clinical appointments at the Universities of Glasgow and NC State and is now a Lecturer in Equine Surgery at the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies and an Adjunct Assistant Professor at NC State. He is a member of the American and European College of Veterinary Surgeons.
