Rutendo Manyarara

Rutendo graduated from the RVC (with an intercalated degree in management from Imperial College – Tanaka Business School) in 2006 and started his working life on the Hertfordshire and Essex border. Rutendo spent about nine months in mixed practice – predominantly small animal and equine. He them moved into small animal practice (with some wildlife work for good measure) – initially locuming and then settling with a group on the south coast (Chichester area), and spent about three and a half years with them. Rutendo left clinical practice to work as a veterinary assessor at the Veterinary Medicines Directorate in October 2011. The bulk of his work now involves assessing veterinary medicines to determine if they can be authorised and have been managing part of the veterinary assessor team since October 2013.
