John McEwen, MBE

John has been an Equine Practitioner for more than 40 years. He was Team Vet to the British Olympic teams since 1978 until London 2012 and is currently Director of Equine Sports Science and Medicine, to World Class Program, British Equestrian Federation and has been since 2000. From 2006 he has been the 1st Vice President and Chairman Veterinary Committee of the Federation Equestre International and is a Senior Veterinary Surgeon at Chepstow and Bath racecourses. Interests: John’s main area of interest is the sport horse.
