Pontus Forsell

I am a trained in vitro pharmacologist with 20 years of experience from preclinical drug discovery in different industrial settings. My profession within drug discovery was primarily established at Merck where I spent part of my graduate studies as well as my post-doc period. After that, I have 18 years of dedicated research within pharmacology, inflammation, neuroscience and pain research. Within both Biolipox/Orexo and AstraZeneca, I have had several positions including line manager, roles in project generation and project strategy. During my time at AstrraZeneca, I was responsible for the assay development within CNS&Pain. I have acquired a broad knowledge and experience from my different roles at large pahrma or at small biotech.
