Mrs Andreia Albuquerque-Wendt

I studied Applied Chemistry (Biotechnology) and later Biochemistry in the Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologias da Universidade Nova de Lisboa (Portugal). I obtained my Master´s degree in Biomedical Sciences (Molecular Biology and International Tropical Medicine) in the Instituto de Higiene e Medicina Tropical, specializing in the field of Leishmania parasites. My main focus included the phenotype of Leishmania hybrid strains. Presently my interests lie in Kinetoplastida and Apicomplexa glycobiology.
