Anthelmintic resistance is a key area of research in both animal and human medicine. I am particularly interested in how nematode and trematode parasites of veterinary importance display resistance at the genetic level. At the applied level I am interested in improving the diagnosis and understanding of lack of drug efficacy in the field to support the health, welfare and production potential of animals in the future.
