Clive Green

Clive received an undergraduate degree in Chemistry from the University of Nottingham UK in 1996, and stayed in Nottingham to complete a postgraduate degree in Natural Product Synthesis with Professor Gerry Pattenden. He then completed a period of postdoctoral research with Professor Amos B. Smith III at the University of Pennsylvania USA before returning to the UK as a medicinal chemistry team leader with AstraZeneca at Alderley Park in 2001.

As a medicinal chemist Clive worked on projects in Oncology and Cardiovascular disease areas, spanning all phases of drug discovery research. In 2010 he moved to his current position as Associate Director of Compound Management UK where he's responsible for AstraZeneca's corporate compound collection storage, curation and processing, and chemical reagents management service.
