Profile of Darren Hart
Dr Darren Hart has been leader of the High Throughput Protein Technologies lab at the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL) Outstation in Grenoble since 2003. He received his PhD from Oxford University and pursued postdoctoral studies at Cambridge University in protein engineering by directed evolution methods.
He was then Group Leader at Sense Proteomic (Cambridge, UK), a university spin-out specialising in functional protein microarrays. Currently he develops and uses random library methods for structural biology applications, focusing on viral targets, kinases and HDACs.
