Dr Tim Forshew

Biog:
Tim is a Senior Research Associate at Cambridge University. He focuses on the development of techniques for the analysis of cancer mutations. His current research is based on detecting low frequency mutated cancer DNA found cell free in body fluids such as blood and urine. In his previous position he studied the genetics of childhood brain tumours and for this work he won the 2009 Jeremy Jass Prize for Research Excellence in Pathology.
