Mike Dyson PhD - Co-founder and Group Leader IONTAS Ltd, Cambridge, UK
Originally an organic synthetic chemist (PhD, University of Birmingham), Mike has over 20 years experience in protein and small molecule chemistry, molecular biology and assay development gained during post-doctoral research at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Universities of Edinburgh and Cambridge and the biotechnology industry. He has published 27 papers (cited over 800 times, h-index 16), 4 book chapters, edited a book on protein expression and is inventor on 4 US patent and patent applications. He was previously Head of Protein Engineering at Acambis plc, Group Leader at Sense Proteomic Ltd and was the Project Leader, responsible for protein expression, within the Atlas Project at the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute.
