Dr Nicola Wilsher

Biog:
Nicola Wilsher studied Biopharmacy at King's College and gained her PhD at Leicester School of Pharmacy. Nicola gained an industrial perspective to the drug discovery process at Rhone-Poulenc Rorer, UK. As section head for in vitro ADMET screening she introduced higher throughput technologies to address the need for understanding DMPK properties earlier in the drug discovery process. In 2004 Nicola moved to the Institute of Cancer Research, UK to focus on the development of novel anticancer agents. In 2007 Nicola joined Argenta, UK as DMPK project leader for respiratory targets before returning to oncology in 2010 at Astex in Cambridge, UK as Head of DMPK.
