Profile of Darren Tomlinson
Biog:
I studied for a PhD in developmental and reproductive biology at Edinburgh, then worked as a post doc studying receptor tyrosine kinases in cancer at Leeds. Since 2010 I've been the group leader of the BioScreening Technology Group and I'm a Guest Associate Professor at the Chinese Academy of Sciences in Guangzhou. My group has recently patented a technology based up on scaffold protein called an Adhiron. The Adhiron reagents can be used for drug target validation, identifying druggable domains and for diagnostics.
