Biog: John joined the University of Sussex having worked on a variety of GPCR, ion channel and enzyme neuroscience drug targets during his more than 20 year career in the pharmaceutical industry, (Merck Sharp & Dohme and then Janssen). He has been a major contributor to projects that have resulted in 8 clinical candidates and has led projects from target validation through to Phase 2 clinical trials.
