Profile of Prof Ernst Stelzer

Biog:
At EMBL for 28 years and now a Professor for Physical Biology, Stelzer concentrates on applications and developments of advanced light microscopies. He contributed to 3D cell biology, plant biology and embryogenesis. He invented LSFM, published +240 papers, several patents that secure commercial microscopes and received various prices and honours.
