Profile of Daniela Gabriel

Biog:
Daniela Gabriel received her Ph.D. in Biochemistry 1998 from the Max Planck Institute of Biochemistry in Martinsried, Germany. During her postdoctoral training in the Biotechnology department at Novartis, Basel, she developed biochemical assays using a Biosensor. She joined 2001 the lead discovery unit of Novartis, heading a lab of cellular assay development and screening. Between 2005 and 2012 she built up the High Content Screening group at NIBR, and since 2012 she is focusing on phenotypic assays and projects related to muscle diseases.
