Stuart Hughes is Director and Head of Pharmacology at Vertex Pharmaceuticals where he is focussed on neurodegenerative disorders and oncology. He has previously held positions at Eli Lilly and Company and Cardiff University and has a longstanding interest in ion channels in the CNS.
