Profile of Lesley Chow

Dr Lesley Chow is a postdoctoral researcher in the group of Prof Molly Stevens in the Departments of Materials and Bioengineering and the Institute of Biomedical Engineering at Imperial College London. She received a BS in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Florida and a PhD from Northwestern University. Her doctoral work under the guidance of Prof Samuel Stupp focused on the design and application of self-assembling peptide nanostructures for regenerative medicine applications. Her current research involves the design and synthesis of novel peptide-polymer hybrid platforms to generate scaffolds that mimic the architecture and spatial organisation of native biological tissues for translational tissue engineering applications.
