Dr Steven Kelly

Steven Kelly is a Royal Society University Research Fellow in the Department of Plant Sciences at the University of Oxford. His research group has interests that range from genome evolution, to software development and metabolic engineering. The major focus of his group is the genetic control, evolution and engineering of photosynthesis in grasses (rice, wheat, maize etc). In trypanosomatids, Steve is interested in answering several fundamental questions in gene expression, genome organisation and genome evolution.
