Sally Price

Sally Price is Head of Cell and Translational Science at the Medicines Discovery Catapult (MDC), an Innovate UK backed not-for-profit company supporting the UK SME community to develop better medicines. She is responsible for a team of scientists discovering novel biomarkers for patient stratification, developing biomarker strategies for drug projects and exploring new methods for biomarker analyses. Sally has significant experience in biomarker research including a decade of biomarker research in large pharma which included significant contributions to the first biomarkers qualified by the FDA for preclinical use. She has also contributed to several large collaborative projects focused on renal toxicity. Sally has a particular in interest in back translation of patient biomarkers to inform preclinical drug testing.
