Dr Matthias Haffke

Matthias holds a degree in biochemistry and obtained his PhD in structural biology at EMBL working on multi protein complexes involved in gene transcription.
After a postdoc at Novartis where he pursued structure based drug design studies on GPCRs, he is now leading a team of scientists within the protein sciences group at the Novartis Institutes for Biomedical Research to tackle various classes of challenging membrane proteins for drug discovery.
