Dr Hanna Tegel

Hanna Tegel, PhD, is a senior researcher at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Stockholm, Sweden. Her area of expertise is high-throughput protein production, which is also the focus of the group she is heading. Hanna was a key player in setting up the high-throughput protein production pipeline within the Human Protein Atlas (HPA) project and by using her experiences from this work a protein production pipeline using mammalian cells as production host has been set up within her group. Currently she is highly involved in CellNova, a center focusing on next-generation biological drugs, the Wallenberg Center for Protein Research (WCPR) as well as Protein Production Sweden (PPS), a national research infrastructure focused on the production and purification of protein reagents.
