Dr Alberto Portone

Alberto Portone, PhD in Physics and Nanoscience, is a researcher at the TPM, Science & Technology Park for Medicine in Mirandola, Italy. Previously he worked at the Institute of Nanoscience of CNR (NEST) in Pisa, where his research activity focused on composite materials and nanofabrication methods for optical and biological applications. He is currently working on the use of 3D bioprinting technology to create artificial models of human organs and tissues, establishing productive collaborations with various industrial partners in the biomedical field. He has authored or co-authored 20 papers in international journals and several speeches at national and international conferences.
