Dr Vesna Najdanovic

Dr Vesna Najdanovic is a Senior Lecturer and Deputy Head of the Chemistry and Chemical Engineering Department, College of Engineering and Physical Sciences (Aston University). Vesna's research, based in the Energy and Bioproducts Research Institute, is focused on designing environmentally benign solvent systems for chemical reactions and separation processes. Vesna's research has attracted more than £500 k from various funding agencies, including EPSRC, BBSRC, GCRF and industry. She has published over 60 peer-reviewed papers with a high citation record. As a lead supervisor, she successfully supervised 4 PhD students to completion and 5 post-doctoral researchers.
