Dr Guido Hartmann

Guido Hartmann, PhD is currently Global Head of Research and Development at Centogene. He is leading a group responsible for the conduction of clinical studies involving rare disease patients. Furthermore he is directing a group of researchers performing biomarker discovery using Centogene´s proprietary filter card. The identification of novel biomarkers is closely linked to patient-derived cell work. These data are used to back-translate the clinical findings to the laboratory for novel drug discovery efforts in rare diseases with high unmet clinical need. Guido has long standing experience in drug discovery and clinical development with time spend with increasing managerial responsibility at large pharma and small biotech.
