Abstract

Having access to a reliable and consistent source of human cells is a potential game changer for cell therapies. In this talk, we introduce opti-ox, bit.bio's technology that enables fast, consistent and scalable manufacturing of human cells. Based on the principle that transcription factors (TFs) control cell identity, TF-driven cellular reprogramming offers a disruptive strategy for cell differentiation. By applying a cellular reprogramming approach, the typical restrictions of standard hiPSC differentiation systems - time, complexity, and lack of consistency and purity - have been largely overcome.
