During the COVID-19 pandemic we rapidly developed, manufactured and put into clinical trial diagnostic tests at a scale not previously seen. This was followed by a huge scale-up in manufacturing ability, but still there are huge diagnostic inequities and supply chain challenges. How do we now leverage what we have learned to deliver diagnostics for pandemic preparedness, epidemics and for pathogens that cause disease world-wide and for which there are no suitable tests.
