Profile of Dr Nadia Naffakh
Nadia Naffakh, is a scientist at the french National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS) and is leading the RNA Biology of Influenza Virus unit at the Institut Pasteur-Paris, a non-profit private foundation dedicated to the prevention and treatment of diseases. She is coordinating since 2019 the CNRS GDR2073 ResaFlu which brings together 16 French research teams working on influenza viruses. She has a long-standing interest and expertise in influenza virus-host cell interactions that are essential for the synthesis, processing and trafficking of viral RNAs. One of her aims is to contribute to the development of new drug candidates that inhibit influenza virus replication.
