Profile of Dr Christopher Bryant

Chris Bryant obtained a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Bath and completed his first postdoctoral position at the Institute of Cancer Research in London, where he used CRISPR approaches to investigate novel therapeutic targets in lymphoma. Chris joined the Wellcome Sanger Institute in 2017 as a postdoctoral fellow in the lab of Professor Phil Jones. He is part of an Open Targets project using CRISPR/Cas9 screens to identify novel regulators of epidermal keratinocyte phenotypes that are implicated in inflammatory skin diseases.
