Dr Paul Datlinger

Paul Datlinger is a Post Doc in the lab of Christoph Bock at the Center for Molecular Medicine of the Austrian Academy of Sciences in Vienna, Austria. Recently he developed scifi-RNA-seq, a method for ultra-high throughput single-cell RNA sequencing based on combinatorial fluidic indexing. He’s also the inventor of the CROP-seq technology for single-cell CRISPR screens. Paul studied Molecular Biology at the Universities of Vienna, Manchester and at Imperial College London. Besides developing new technologies for single-cell biology, his research interests include cancer immunotherapy with engineered T cells.
