Abstract

The development of new methods for target ID has significantly increased the landscape for drug development, but too often the next phase is met with failure owing to poor druggablilty profiles. We have developed a screening approach which pre-discovers the mechanisms for drug development in addition to the ID of new phenotypically tractable targets. PROTEINi has dramatically reduced the time taken for us to progress from target discovery to Hit to Lead stage, and we have applied this in several new areas in serious need of new clinical assets.
