Profile of Charles Lay

Charles Lay is a GSK funded BBSRC iCASE PhD student at the University of Nottingham. His PhD project uses proximity based techniques including NanoBRET to investigate the ligand binding and activation of the Interleukin-23 receptor.

Charles completed an undergraduate degree in Biochemistry at the University of Exeter with a year in industry spent at GSK. During this year he worked on the development of intracellular assays for compound binding using NanoBRET technology.
