Profile of Victor Neduva
Victor Neduva is a Senior Principal Scientist in Genomics and Biomarkers Group at MSD Research Laboratories in London where his goal is to accelerate drug discovery processes by exploring novel computational approaches in genetics, genomics and systems biology. His has over a decade of experience working in pharma and academia on identification and validation of novel biological targets, biomarkers discovery and understanding of disease biology. Victor is an Honorary Lecturer at Faculty of Medicine in Imperial College London. He completed his post-doctoral training at Welcome Trust Centre in University of Edinburgh on statistical methods for network analysis and systems biology. He received his PhD from the EMBL and University of Heidelberg working on development of methods for proteomics data analysis and computational biology. The current focus of his work is to identify novel targets and early disease biomarkers in neurodegenerative diseases and enhance understanding of mechanisms linked to diseases of ageing.
