Mr Álvaro Hernández

I am passionate about biotechnology, and during the latest years of my career, I have focused on market research and business development for several companies in the biotech and pharmaceutical industries. I believe that the best way to create value is through innovation and the best way to make decisions through analysis.

In 2016, I graduated in Biology and did a one-year stay in Australia. I continued my education with an MBA in International Business Management and in 2020 I worked in the Commercial Office of the Spanish Embassy in Stockholm, helping Spanish companies expand their business in the Swedish market. There, I focused on the biotechnology sector and published a market research study about Biotechnology in Sweden.

Currently, I have specialized in the Drug Discovery industry. I help pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies to develop, evaluate and select the most appropriate compound for preclinical development. In addition to testing the toxicity, safety, and efficacy of compounds with different disease models. Furthermore, I collaborate in implementing processes to reduce, refine and replace the use of current experimental animal models in research.
